Residents’ Bill of Rights
On November 24, 2008 the Board of Commissioner of the Charlottesville Redevelopment & Housing Authority approved the guidelines for redevelopment known as the Residents’ Bill of Rights.
The Charlottesville City Council subsequently approved the same document on December 15, 2008. This document is helping guide CRHA and Charlottesville through the redevelopment process and provides more clartity to residents and community members on the intentions of CRHA. The document is not a legally binding document, however, the CHRA Board and City Council made clear that they intend to make every effort to follow the guidelines as printed.
We thank PHAR and Legal Aid for their collaborative effort in making this a reality.
